Schedule for week 1
Okay, I have a slightly altered version of the new schedule:
19:00 Scouts jingle and Scouts intro with scouts telling a few things about themselves- name, age and maybe a fact. Then a bit of a background about the scouts and what we do. (This must be done quite quickly).
19:05 This can be my bit to fill in. Song one- Giving Up The Gun by Vampire Weekend, followed by previously prepared news. Then song two- Let's Go Surfing by The Drums.
19:20 Barbra's biscuit barrel part 1
19:25 Adverts
19:30 Paul the Alien jingle and Sam on his sax.
19:35 Cathy Cook interview with an intro to Cathy.
19:55 Say goodbye until next week with some jokes (you'll have to get your own jokes)

19.00 Scouts Intro jingle with a Scouts introduction
- Introduce each scout (get them to intro themselves perhaps - just a first name, age, and time in scouts is all that's required)
- Harry (himself, and by asking others) to explain the various things mentioned in the intro, e.g.:
- collapsing dam (spend some time describing the excellence of the dam, the depth, the swimming, other campsite people swimming there etc etc)
- blood sucking ticks
19.05 News and song
- What song? what news? who is doing it?
- 10 minutes is a long time to fill! Can you really do it?
19.15 Sugarloaf hill talk and interview with survivors
- Harry- how about you lead this since you weren't there: act as interviewer afterwards.
- Ask where it is

- Where did they have lunch (in a cave!!)
