Ideas for Future Activities

Here's a list of ideas that may or may not be practical, affordable etc…

    • Unfortunately have to be 12 or over, so that probably counts it out
    • HP thing
    • Can borrow up to 20(!) PDAs from HPlabs and migrate a pirate/trading game from work to the YC park.
  • Coppicing, Sheepscombe Brake (near Old Down)
    • suitable for up to half a dozen older scouts
    • Chris Giles of South Glos Council (01454 863725)

Camp sites looked at that we haven't visited

  • Dewerstone (near Plymouth)
    • No toilets
  • torbay looks nice.
    • Pembrokeshire, toilets, altar fires. No campfire circle
    • Got to be a great location!
    • Lots of facilities and space
    • Near the M4 though
    • Facilities listed look ok. No photos
    • Some good comments here
    • Visited it when looking for cubs years ago - good facilities, no stream or turf cutting I suspect
    • Good spot, may be slopy for camping.
    • No turf cutting
  • Rhydd Covert near Kidderminster
    • A bit of a trek, but looks a very good place, ground fires etc all ok, lots of onsite activities.
  • Chelwood near Keynsham
    • May be a stream we can dam?
  • Cranham near Gloucester.
